Language and Literature Group

The “Language and Literature” subgroup is comprised of multilingual academics, ranging from respected senior researchers to ECRs. Our diverse research interests are not restricted to literary criticism but encompass fields such as film, music, gender studies, the arts and other forms of contemporary culture. The latter include, for example, schizophrenic poetry, electronic music, migration in cinema, comparative literature, ecocriticism, cultural representations of Alzheimer’s disease, literature as a form of protest, war literature and historical memory, as well as representations of religious beliefs and theological narratives in literature.
